# 0xCthulhu

0xCthulhu is a metaverse inspired by the stories and the universe created by H.P. Lovecraft. Players are invited to explore with their characters the iconic city of Arkham and the dangerous huge rural areas around. They will be challenged to solve mysteries, defeat cosmic and dangerous creatures together or alone. With the completion of these quests they can earn loot and our substiancial currency the "Elder Coin". You need it to survive in our *Arkham-Verse*

We are still in an early stage of our development. We are currently creating a community base and fund our vision with the release of NFTs that will play a crucial role in our 0xCthulhu world. 

We want the players to roam freely through the city and rural areas around Arkham. It will be possible to buy, rent and sell land and property to manifest the own power and strategies.

When you have defeated a strong enemy or have completed a difficult quest you will get your rewards. We want you to be able to sell these items and Elder Coins. So you can "play to earn". With items that belong to the player! Forever and without any strings attached. This is the key factor of our NFT based world.

#### Ways you can earn coins:

* Defeat monsters and gather loot. 
* Solve quests. There will be stories in and around Arkham that can be investigated. They will be rewarded.
* Stake your Tarot Cards (our first collection) in rituals. With the help of the cultists (our second collection) you will be able to generate Elder Coins but also summon powerful creatures inspired from the stories of H.P. Lovecraft. 
* Stake your creatures. You unleash your powerful creatures to create chaos and havoc in Arkham county. The more powerful your monsters are and the more heroes you have defeated the higher the rewards will be. 
* Rent real estate. You can buy land in Arkham and the rural area around it. You can put shops in there to sell your items. You can create your own home. Your own headquarter for your cult or the office for your private eye. Or whatever you imagine
* Create assets for our world and sell them. Furniture, floors, walls, plants etc. In our marketplace you can sell them for our Elder Coin.
